Aura Land was instructed to market an 18-acre former commercial site with planning permission for 220 new homes. Despite planning consent being in place, the site had previously struggled to attract interest due to challenging ground conditions and technical constraints.
Recognising that the opportunity required a developer with specific expertise, we undertook a focused disposal process, approaching a select group of regional and national housebuilders capable of delivering the scheme.
Following negotiations with several interested parties, terms were agreed with an experienced regional housebuilder on an unconditional basis within six months.
The site is now under construction and will deliver a significant new residential development, transforming a former commercial site into a thriving new community.
